My earlier camera Nikon Coolpix P530 bought this camera about 4 years back, still going strong. It is now in the archives of Nikon. Great camera for starters in the hobby. When it was available it had features like 16.1 MP, 42x optical zoom, and Full HD 1080p video recording. Came with an 8 GB memory card and a camera bag. This camera went with me for almost all the trips that I took till the upgrade.
When I bought this Nikon Coolpix P530, it had an AN-CP21 Strap, UC-E6 USB Cable, EN-EL5 Rechargeable Li-ion Battery, Charging AC Adapter EH-70P, LC-CP24 Lens Cap. This was an excellent buy easy to use and simple to click pictures & record videos.
I would suggest this when you buy your first camera or just start in the hobby. Look for simplicity than over features which will never be used. Sometimes cell cameras can do the job as well. So, buying an expensive gadget is not so much required to get into the hobby. Nikon Coolpix P530 was a good choice and now I see this camera has been phased out but is still being sold on some retail outlets for 4 times the cost. Here is the company’ Official Link
