The 1st camera can be very confusing as the sky is the limit. Every person has his own preference when it comes to choosing the first camera. Some of the companies in the line of manufacturing are Canon, Nikon, Sony, Olympus, Fujifilm, Pentax, Leica, Samsung and now GoPro. They all have a solid line in competing and that makes it even more difficult for the consumer while buy the first one.
Just to make things even worse these companies produce cameras which are further segregated. Point-and-Shoot, DSLR, Mirrorless and now Action Cameras. I would suggest not getting confused in the jungle of cameras and accessories as this forest is very dense and coming out will be a tough job. Don’t forget the fact this is just your first camera.
So, decide what is the use of the 1st camera you want to buy. Is it only for vacations or do you want to be a professional in the photography line? What is the subject in focus? How often are you going to use the camera? How many pictures are you going to click in one day and in a year? Answers to the above question will help you with your 1st camera buy.
